Technology in the classroom! ( & How to incorporate it into yours!)

I'm sure when you think of technology in the classroom you think of projects and hunky televisions but there are so many new things that can be incorporated into the classroom for learning. Not only are projects and Televisions still great tools to use, but there are also others.

For example, many teachers have done away with making students take notes on traditional pen and paper, as there are apps such as Goodnotes and OneNote which allow students to use Ipads and computers for notes.

There are platforms such as Google Classroom and Canvas that are available to teachers for free use, you can upload work, quizzes, and go completely paperless. This will not only help our environment but will aide in losing student's work as it will always be there for you or them to access.

The best way to decide what technology to use in your classroom is to first look at the subject you're teaching, does it require a lot of technology, can your lessons benefit from adding in extra tech?
Will your lessons still be accommodating to various types of students. You also need to understand that there has to be a balance in the classroom, though the technology is beneficial there is such thing as too much. You have to plan lessons that don't involve as much tech to keep a balance also.
